  Alas, I have yet to stick my nose under the lid of a Vanagon diesel.  :-(
I did a LOT of adjustments and tune ups on the AFC  air cooled and 
wasserboxers and got pretty good toward the end. :-)  Don't remember 
much of it anymore.  Only had one Vanagon diesel come in the shop 
when I was there.  It was for the diesel heater as I recall.  Didn't have 
time to do any more than read the badge that said it was a diesel.  :-P
