[Vwdiesel] glow plugs

I used a really bright 12v led for one... I think it had a half dozen or so
of them in the single component, and just placed it under the air intake
grill in the hood, gooped it up with sillycone so the wires didn't get
corroded. You can't be short tho- can't see the grill over the dash. I
think it was Roger that used led wiper nozzles- they light up when the plugs
are energized. That is a really good place for them... nice and obvious.

Any good ideas of where to place the light/LED for this? I meant to do this
when I re-
wired the plugs but ran out of time. I thought it would be cool to add a red
LED in one
of the unused spaces in the cluster, but it's a PITA to get out...
What have others done? Any ideas that don't involve ripping the dash apart?
