[Vwdiesel] Oh, lament on the woes of the oil burner

I was struck with some horrible news the other day. 
 My workplace informed me that I may no longer plug 
my car in as somebody complained that it was not 
fair to others.  It was also not my electricity to use, 
i.e. stealing from the workplace!  I am mulling about 
ways to keep an engine warm at 5º f without our dear 
friend, the electron.  I am also curious as to the fuel 
consumption per hour of an idleing motor.  I wish that 
auxilliary veg-oil tank was done!  Anybody have a tiny 
diesel generator to power a 400 watt block heater?  
Fortunately my gasser backup car is a 28 mpg audi 
and not a 5 gpm suburban!  Ugggghhhh!!!!!!
