[Vwdiesel] 50A fuses

Where can I get the 50A glow plug fuses besides the stealership?
After horsing around with my daughters car for two days trying to figure 
out why it wouldn't start, I decided to take a closer look at the fuse 
because I have had loose screws leave me stranded before. I found that 
the PO had taken pieces of  two fuses and mounted them together so they 
were touching and this was acting as the fuse. One side had shifted so 
that there wasn't good electrical contact anymore and I had no glow 
plugs. When I looked at the fuse initially, it looked OK. I didn't think 
of taking the screws out to see if the contact was dirty or if it was a 
cobbled two piece fuse.  It burns me up when I find  a shortcut that  
either a PO or "mechanic" has taken that  causes me to spend a lot of 
time determining why things don't work like they are supposed to!
