[Vwdiesel] Impact usage

Never to tighten. Al is too soft. But to loosen, esp if there
are rusted cyl head bolts, I would use impact. Observe the
loosening procedures.

Also for the injector, nothing says you can't presoak the
threads for several days or weeks. Then try to extract.

Having said that, I have not had extreme trouble getting
injectors out. I snapped a glow plug on a late 70's Rabbit.
#2. Just ran the car with three plugs for 10 years until the
head had to come off. Then the plug came out real easy.
But maneuvering in tight quarters, an easy out with a tire
iron pushing it in, didn't work at all when the head was on
the block.

There are few Al parts which require impact. But with corroded
screws on the cooling system, I soak and use impact.
