[Vwdiesel] TD oil pressure

I have noticed while watching my oil pressure gauge that when I am cruising 
along and then hit the gas the oil pressure drops a couple of psi until I stop 
accelerating.  Then it goes back up to pressure.  I notice it coincides with 
the boost.  The oil pressure drops as the boost goes up and vice versa.  The 
oil pressure always seems to be acceptable, but I am wondering if that is 
normal, and if so, why?  Piston oil squirters? something with the turbo?
