Is there any way to identify a dead plug without removing the bussbar ?

  No offense intended, and maybe it's just me because our VW shop mgr. 
tended to use a similar phrase but dang it torks me when someone gives 
that as a response!  Leon used to just say "look it up in the book" when 
it'd take him less time to just answer the question than to say that.  His 
theory was that we needed to know how and where to find the info.  Um, 
we were qualified to work on those cars only BECUASE we already knew 
that.  Sometimes we just wanted to save time when we knew someone 
already knew the answer to a simple question rather than find all the 
pieces of the book until you found the piece you needed.
