I have not seen a searchable archive, but the messages are all archived here by 
pipermail (the link is missing from the archive pages, but the content is here)

http://www.audifans.com/pipermail/vwdiesel/

Fortunately, the site has been picked up by google, so you can do the following to 
search the archives:

<search terms> site:www.audifans.com

This will restrict the search to content on the www.audifans.com domain/host.

example:

glow plug test site:www.audifans.com

...will return all you ever wanted to know about glow plug testing.
