Well I went out and tried the voltage drop method.  No dice.  I can't seem
to get a reading anywhere.  Must be because of where I was probing ( on the
nuts and there was corrosion )    I did try and clean it off a bit.  It is
nice to see that I am not the only one confused about this !  BTW, I do know
that a few of them are working.  I have a voltmeter installed and you can
see the voltage drop at the battery.  Picked up my Bosh GP's today.  They'll
be going in on the weekend.  I "hotwired" the GP's and I found that the #2
GP was cooler than the others, but it was really hard to detect the warmth
from them.  I'll find out if I was right soon enough ....
