[Vwdiesel] to turbo or not to turbo- that is the question

Greetings
  I have a really good just rebuilt 1.6 non-turbo motor with a new =
hydrulic head on it.
  I also have a very good turbo kit that I would like to put with it.
  Now I know that their are some differences between the turbo and the =
not turbo engine.=20
  My question to the list is this; What does it take to get this =
non-turbo motor set up for turbo use?
  My understanding is that the pistons are oil cooled. Can run without =
the oil cooled pistons? Also I know that the pump and the head are =
different. If I am not interested in the extra power but rather economy =
can I run the non-turbo head with just using the turbo exhaust valves? =
Same question would be true with the non-turbo pump and injectors.
  I might add that I am the most conservitive driver in the world so =
fuel economy is the main reason to put the turbo on.=20
