It is run straight into the pump.
One hose into the pump, and the return line back into the can.
It will take some 20 minutes to get used up. Secure it under the hood so
it doesn't fall over, and then gun and rev the engine off-and-on in the
mean time.
I've used it on all of my VW's and a mercedes. It truly works wonders.
When done, follow up at each fuel fill with a good additive.
