Well yesterday, Texas got its once every 10 years or so snow fall. I
got almost 5 inches at my house here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area.
Took the caddy out for a spin in the snow and had quite a hard time
getting it to come loose. All that weight over the front wheels makes
them just to good for snow traction. I finally found a snow covered
parking lot and managed to get a slight skid out of the truck at half
throttle and with the wheel cocked almost all the way to the left. Was
kind of fun. Anyway, gotta love Texas weather, 5 inches of snow
yesterday and almost 50 today and snow is all gone. Having lived in
the colder snowy climates before (Utah, Missouri and Maryland) I sure
appreciate not having snow around for long periods of time. BTW truck
is running great and I sold my 2002 Jetta Wagen for $16000 on eBay.
Now just waiting for my Passat. Hayden
