[Vwdiesel] 86 NA alternator belt size

Hello,

In the middle of the worst ride to work this winter freezing rain and 
wrecks everywhere I dropped my alternator belt and had to limp to work in 
the dark with parking lights and no defroster. I don't have a Bentley at 
work and need to find a replacement.  Could someone please give me the 
correct belt size?  I have called one parts place so far and get the 
feeling I could easily come home with the wrong size if I don't know what I 
am looking for. My car does have the AC and PS.
