[Vwdiesel] Turbo in series or parallel

I agree to a point Mark.  If it was just scavenging, then why have an
8V92TT, or "twin turbo" version.  Used the famous blower mounted on the
wedge of the V, and a turbo on each bank of four.  As I recall, there was a
staged version as well.  Good for 500hp. The more turbos, the more power
thte engine was rated at.  It couldn't all be for scavenging, could it?
