  Of course the top two of 3 are accessible with a wrench.  The lower one 
is accessible with a socket from 81 on.  You need an assortment of 
thin, different angle wrenches or else the "special" 100 degree box 
wrench.  It's a great wrench and very useable in many instances 
including the other 3 bolts or Audi driveline nuts and bolts.  The rear 
bolt can be had with a socket or wrench, box is safest.
  The engine rotates in the foreward, drive direction so therefore does 
the pump.  Rotate the pump rearward, top away from you, and it gets 
where it's going quicker in relation to the engine.
