Not with a 1.5 mounting plate on the engine.  

I hagar agrees with Loren --- the 1.5L  is a PITA compared to the 1.6L

I do not like doing my 1.5 L   for that reason. 

  Get yourself one of those dreaded, special tools then.  That bent, box 
wrench is well worth the dozen or so dollars mine cost.  You'll like doing 
a 1.5 over a 1.6 with it.  :)
