Don't so it! This is the very reason why all the AAZ 1.9 turbo diesels are 
falling apart here in Canada-the serpentine belt systems are too much for 
the crank design (same design as the 1.6). The damper pulley weight combined 
with the serpentine belt system is too much stress for the timing belt gear 
and it gets play over time and breaks the crank bolt off. The serptine belts 
also have alot of vibration and are not diesel friendly in the long run 
(hard on the tensioners and they frequently fail).
