[Vwdiesel] Diesel Headgasket

Like the Injection system --- nothing is more important on a Rabbit than the 
Headgasket.

And it is tricky.

Personally I cover everything in structural epoxy ---- on the block it seals
the iron so there is no creep of water and exhaust along a rust line..

The head is not so critical since it is aluminium.

VW had pure hell trying to make a gasket work -- due to the difference in expansion.
Head to block.

They never really solved the problems as far as I am conserned. ----  

A block made of Aluminium is the answer.---- or for old Rabbits ? a cast iron head.

As a short tem solution ? keep a COOL head.
