That's my point - on the Eco's, they put a bend in the A/C tubes to
allow the filter to come out the top... much improved for that year (91
and 92)...

You've got to be kidding me! No offense. I have a 91, and
an oil change on that beast is the biggest pain I have
on ANY powerplant I maintain. I end up dropping the lower
shroud/pan, and moving the power sterring lines out of the way
(17mm wrench on the bracket, thank you). I end up with
sooty oil all over the place.
Impossible, tried 100 ways, to get the filter through the top.
On mine, at least. If I'm missing something, I'd LOVE to hear
it.
68 hp would be welcome. I was probably foolish, but back in
91, I just figured a turbo was one more expensive thing to
maintain. So I avoided getting one. The story has turned out
quite different, though.
