[Vwdiesel] injectors

  Speaking of injectors, I'm thinking that maybe it's time to replace
mine. The '82 vanagon 1.6NA has 135,000 miles on it, and when starting from
cold, even in warm weather, one cylinder doesn't fire at first (all glowplugs
recently replaced, Bosch), so there's a good bit of white smoke for a bit, then
it smooths out. However, I notice that even after being warmed up, if I put my
fingers on the injector lines one at a time, I can feel a difference, a heavier
vibration, almost a hammering, on #3. I'm assuming that this is a faulty
injector not spraying properly or else being forced open a bit by compression
and allowing a bit of back pressure into the lines.
