[Vwdiesel] Storing injection pump

Here is what is done here.

Dump out as much as possible.      Fill with a good lube oil  ---
on wet coast pour in oil from newly opened can. ---- to minimize moisture
content.

Then cover all holes with heavy kitchen foil.--- to keep nosy ants out.

Remove both banjos and shake out as much as possible.

Gum and rust is murder on these little beauties.

Injectors do not like sitting with old fuel.

PS:  I use hydraulic oil ---- it has rust preservative additives.
