  Haven't seem much hype about them.  Not much of anything at all other 
than a write-up or two.  My take on heavy demand is short sightedness 
overcome by the good performance/mileage specs and passenger room.  
Twice as many people as a Honda, not much less "real world" mileage and 
people don't tend to question how much a replacement battery will really 
cost in 5 years!
  The Honda is the one that irked me.  Claiming the highest passenger car 
mileage in the world @ 70mpg US.  Seems to me I've heard of a few 
Polo owners that get about that with a straight, non-proprietary VW with 
it's 3 cylinder TDI.  Most write-ups claim more like low to mid 40's as I 
recall, with the Honda.
