15 years ago a cousin of mine spent SEVERAL YEARS competely restoring, down 
to the finest detail, a vintage american muscle car.  Within a month of 
finishing-better than factory new- it was parked next to his house, off the road, 
when a very drunk individual smashed into it, completely destroying it.  The 
drunk had no money, no posessions, and no driver's license.  He had been given 
several D.U.I.'s.  My cousin got NOTHING.
