[Vwdiesel] TD Main bearings

"With a 360 degree oil channel on # 4 bearing to improve oil flow to the 
connecting rod bearing. (Contains : 3, non-channeled 5, channeled and 2, 
thrust bearings)"

I've never seen this description for a #4 bearing before, and don't think my 
TD 
has these when I pulled them out. Does anyone know more about this? 
These were Kolbenschmidt bearings, the same as the stock ones I took out.--


  Yup.  Very few of the bearings come with the paper telling you WHICH 
one gets the full circle grove too!  I finally got one and I think it's in my 

tool roll away.  I think every set of Rabbit diesel mains I've gotten had 
this arrangement.  I ALWAYS forget which one gets it and I lose about 
a day chasing it down again!  :-P
