[Vwdiesel] Dead (still) TDI progress (or lack thereof)

A lot of can identify with your predicament.  Especially those of us with
no scratch in the cash drawer.

Again all roads lead to the house of DIY.   Get a good manual -- like a Bentley
or better.

Loren already suggested ----roll up your sleeves. And have a go at it.   It is down
right UN American not to give it a try.   I second that.

Years from now maybe you will look back with pride and tell the tale to the
grand kids.

List some of your assets --- like do you have a place to work on it ? do you have
tools ?  What is the most you ever did ? a ring job ? a valve job ? that will help
us to guide you.   The mechanics here are to my knowledge --Loren and Ferguson.
and you may be able to shake out a few more.

, but hopefully, it will improve the 
collective knowledge.
