How do PVC or ABS do under these conditions (oil & heat)? Does anyone know? I
know that PVC can be given slight bends using a torch, and of course there are tons of
angle fittings available starting at 15 deg.
ok... it seems PVC is out - temp ratings are around 140-160F. CPVC is around 200F,
which is still too low I imagine. What kind of temps are we dealing with here? ABS is
able to withstand most chemicals, including oil I would imagine, since it was developed
for the oil fields.
Maybe a call to a plumbing supplier is in order?
