[Vwdiesel] Cross-Canada Fuel Economy

I've relocated from Toronto, ON to Nanaimo BC.  Following are details of fuel consumption along the way.

Vehicle is a '91 Jetta TD.  Car was loaded to the hilt, and I cruised at 110km/hr (about 70mph) virtually all the way.  Used 0.5l oil along the way.  Also used Stanadyne & 2-stroke oil as an additive, mixed 1:100 ratio.  Tach showed about 2750rpm at 110km/hr.  The little 1.6l engine purred all the way without a complaint.

All in all, I would have expected better fuel consumption but then again, I can't really bitch considering the car's overall mileage and the load/speed it was subjected to.
