Hi Andrew, I'm kinda disappointed NOT to get that kind of mileage.  What kind 
of cruising speed were you doing?  Air conditioning?  Are you sure your 
speedo is accurate?  That may be the apprx amount of miles on my 85 NA Jetta( not 
sure becasue of odo problems in the past), but my compression is marginal in 
one or two cylinders.  Have you ever had your head redone?  I'm thinking mine 
would benefit from that. Catch you later, Doug
