[Vwdiesel] Homebrew Surface Plate -- ( my world is flat )

To lap on a surface plate, overlay with a large sheet of wet paper slightly
oversize.  I do that with mine anyway...  It keeps the abrasive off if it's
big enough, but I don't care for it nearly as well as I am supposed to. I
use it, A grade or not.  It's really flat, that's why I bought it, on sale
for 200 bucks. Wouldn't be without it. Gotta clean it for about fifteen
minutes before using any height gauge, or fancy measuring stuff.
