Here is place where GMO's belong. -----Some of you know that I fooled around with
fuel for many years.
Castor bean oil has be used a lot over the years. An Canola is nothing to sneeze at.
For those of you with brand new machines ----use stanadyne please ------VW will
like you a lot better if you have warranty problems. And use only # 2 Diesel.
For us hillbillies with hand me downs ---well the cheapest way is an ART.---The VE pump
and injectors are the problem , not lubrication of the engine itself. >From day one I knew
about stanadyne additives and filters , remember before the Rabbits I rode Rockets.(Olds)
too pricy for me.
The nifty way , was adding CANNING paraffin wax ---works like something awful.(no winter use)
.
Next nifty was AD-100 EssoMobil ---get EE now. Number 3 nifty is Canola as food oil
it is not taxed very much here. Price pr liter is getting close to diesel.
When you fully understand the wax job ..you will find it irresistible.
I recommend again that you get a 4 liter can of Hexyl from a chemical supply house.
Lab supply is more money.50 cetane sure is nice.
