I had meant to give that link in my last post. ...
but I was up to late and totally brain farted it.

I have 4 running N/A diesel Rabbits, 2 not running
parts cars ... and a parts gasser. Fortunately one
of the parts diesels had an exact match pump
that is now on the car and waiting for the
"tell of the tale" cranking to see if it will run
the car.

I do appreciate your offer of the loan of a pump
.. you are gracious and generous Hager. I was
hoping to find someone who might be willing to
give up the specific part I need from within the
pump knowing they had a junk pump that is
not working.

Since you have been in these pumps a number
of times ... did you ever compare the etched
numbers on parts within the pump to other
pumps' parts to see if the numbers match from
like or unlike part numbered pumps? I was
wondering if sometimes the inner parts could
be interchanged between like numbered pumps
or even unlike numbered pumps.

I did do a search on http://www.car-part.com/ and
found about a dozen pumps available. I'd hate to
pay $100 US just for this small internal part.

numbered.    and Piston and control
sleeve are mated. ---numbered with electric
pencil.

No charge  at all  BUT     Lenoras and Sirids cats
would like a small donation ---totally voluntary.

I will lend you a pump for free for 6 month.
They are easy to find at scrappers. So  6 momth ?
you will find one.  Remember any pump    ANY pump
will do for those years.  Automatic
manual turbo 1.6 or 1.5      no problemo.   If you
see one with LDA grab it.
