I've heard this about the nozzles before, and even seen some
places where they are listed as the same. The EKTA seems to
confirm it too, except the 1V (eco) is different, which seems
odd.
For 1986-'92 Jetta, the ME/MF nozzles are 068 130 211D, the 1V
is 068 130 211H.
Strangely, the '85 Jetta shows 068 130 211B for both ME/MF,
which is the earlier nozzle used on the CR/JK and CY (NA and TD)
engines used in the A1 Jettas. But in all cases, the NA and TD
nozzles are the same part# from '83 to '92, so I think it is
safe to assume they *are* the same.

Yup, Im sure. Here is how I came to this deduction. On another
board, someone tipped me off to this, so I figured I'd try. I
purchased a new turbo nozzle (at like...$30), and a new NA
nozzle ($9), and took them down to my friend's machine shop.
There, I measured the radii of the needles, and the aperture of
the nozzle itself - along with the basic external dimensions.
They were exactly the same (within Bosch's manufacturing
tolerance Im sure..something like .01mm or so ?).
I wrote a winded email to bosch, and they haven't replied (over
like...3 months), and my telephone calls to them go unanswered. Im
disappointed, I would have liked to hear their reasoning..
Hope this helps,
Steve
