Well.........I got the switch out. 2 x 9mm bolts.
It's a mess. All corroded and whatnot.
I got it mostly apart (a lot of fighting with a small screwdriver and
needlenose pliers) even though
it was never meant to come apart.
I'll take it to work today and see if I can clean up the corrosion and
crudiness and make it work.
There are 3 plungers which must contact 3 cogs in the tranny for shifting
and reverse and whatnot.
I see how a normal switch would not work. Not even close.
I'll keep the list posted................and most likely will be looking for
another switch soon.
I think this ones' actually been taken apart before, but only partially.
I'm goin' the distance !
