[Vwdiesel] Fuel delivery valve woes...

By fuel delivery valves do you mean the fuel injector valve (screwed into the 
head), or the fuel check valve (screwed into the injection pump)?  I assume 
you mean the check valves, as the fuel injectors do not have copper washer's 
sealing them.  Are you attempting to run the pump with the lines disconnected, 
and still no fuel coming out of the check valves?  That is strange indeed.  
I've replaced them several times on pumps and had them work fine.  Is the pump 
primed?  Perhaps when removing the valves enough fuel leaked out of the pump for 
it to lose it's prime.  Fill the pump with clean diesel fuel from the pump 
inlet fitting.
