If it's an A2, then it's probably the front door seals. They leak, allowing water to drop
down inner edge of rocker panel and into rear footwell. Both of my '85s have had this
problem repeatedly. The lower edge of plastic film leaks - my solution was to feed it
*inside* the door frame along the bottom edge, so that if the seal leaks, water will still
just run inside the door and out the drain holes.
