[Vwdiesel] Parts Cleaning

So what do you guys use, and how does it work for you.  Someone has to
have an old KitchenAid dishwasher, plumbed up to recirculate Zippy 500
Parts Cleaning Petroleum Distillates (not approved for direct skin contact,
of course).  I'm not sure I want to go that far, but learning from
others is always welcome.

Actually Val, just lots of dishwasher soap and really hot water does wonders
in a dishwasher.  Buddy had one with a pooched timer so you just had on and
off and a drain switch.  Let it run as long as necessary until stuff was
clean, then remove and hose down ferrous metals with wd-40. Really nice for
heads and stuff.
