 I was SUPPOSED to be in Seattle today!  I made it about 30 miles.  Got 
to the top of the pass and lost power.  Pulled over and a hood full of 
steam came out.  Of course I HAD to be in the borrowed, TD pu of 
Dads!  Borrowed a cell phone that WORKS on the pass and called 
the wife to get Dad to tow me back and I'd start coasting.  It'd fire so 
I limped up to speed for about 30 seconds here and there to get past 
the flatter spots.  Dad was unavailiable so Mom suggested she call 
my nephew that was 2 hours away to come help.  Good one Mom!  :-P
Finally got it towed and figured I could get a gasket in there, surface if 
needed and still make it tomorrow.  Nope! 
  The head is missing material between the valves and prechamber!
#1 and #2 both.  Head's toast and so are my plans.   :-P  Sucky end 
to what would've been a good day trip to pick up material for a job, 
recycle some pad and get Milton back on the road.  Plus a few other 
stops.  :-P  :-P  :-P
  Anybody have a spare fuel cap for a pu while I'm at it?  Got the local 
guys looking for a rebuilt head. With the cost of a rebuildable one, 
rebuilding 
it and my time it looks like I'd be way over the cost of a rebuilt one, so 
far, if 
he can find one.  :-P  :-P  :-P
