[Vwdiesel] head gasket of course!!

ok..so i have had this head milled.
now..maybe some one ///p/o? had it milled too?
ok..so will that affect the tightness?
of head bolts?
will they bottom out?


  Actually a good question since it seems to not take much poo in the 
holes to make poo of a block.  The 1.5 is MUCH more touchy about 
splitting the block with the head bolts.  We ended up surfacing one 
down for at least the third time.  They went until they touched valves 
on one end!  Ran fine, sounded GREAT and no problems with bolts, 
so you should have no worries with yours. 
  I doubt your head gasket is leaking. Had the same symptoms and 
the same thoughts. Turned out to be coming from the hose fitting/
adapter on the end of the head.  Seems like sometimes the bolts 
can leak water but not positive. Probably a loose bolt or hose clamp 
there.
