[Vwdiesel] A2 front wheel bearing tips?

I still maintain, counter to what Hagar claims, that once you press them
out they are destroyed. Once they start making noise, they're toast, anyway.
Just as easy to put new ones in if you're that far in, IMHO.

Lee and All :   One thing you can count on  ---if Hagar say he has done it   HE HAS DONE IT.

The front bearings on a Rabbit can be removed and inspected and regreased and reinstalled.

Make my day put your money on the table.   ---Simple as shit when you know  "HOW"

.Put me to the test .   Why did I do it in the first place ?   simple the bearing was about 45 bucks and I just installed it in a 1980 ---when I got a 1982 that needed the bearing.   So there.
It was a piece of cake ---the bearing splits so you have to  reinstall seal. No problemo
for Hagar.     Use really good grease.
