[Vwdiesel] radiator hose question

This is also the way that I like to keep hoses from
wearing. Very simple and effective. But instead of
gluing them I will use cable ties. And definitely
inspect periodically! It's much easier to replace a
protective cover than the whole hose!
I've never had a rubbing problem that this wouldn't
fix. Sure, there's still rubbing, but I don't care if
old hoses get worn thru while protecting the one
that's actually in use. The fixes usually last for
multiple years at the very least.
