[Vwdiesel] Bart's blowby

Maybe. Here is the deal on my head. It was supposed to have been all gone
through from the guy I bought the engine from 25k miles ago. He said he had
it checked at his machine shop and was supposed to be in very good
condition. As Loren pointed out to me when I had it apart since the
cylinders were shiny smooth and the rings were way worn already he
obviously didn't do them right so it casts some doubt on the entire
rebuild. Problem was I asked around and it was $300 min. to go through the
head if I wanted it done so I took a chance and put it back on. I know it
wasn't the smartest thing and it might be coming back to bite me in the
ass. When I bought the car 3 years ago I knew it needed engine work but I
wanted a vw diesel bad. That engine turned out to be beyond repair. I found
this "rebuilt" and paid for it and put it in. The oil pump went out on it
last fall, then the rings, now I have been trying to fix it myself for 6
weeks and my wife wants me to push it over a cliff. There are no cliffs
anywhere around here so she doesn't get her way but I was reluctant to put
that much more money in having the head gone through. Nobody but me seems
to think I could have broke some rings or bent valves when I spun my cam
gear with the starter? I guess another compression test will tell and I
hope I didn't trash it but, where is my oil pressure going?
