[Vwdiesel] New problem high idle

  Rabbit did that and even did after a pump rebuild.  ;-P  It didn't tend to 
do 
it at idle though.  More while on the road and you needed to slow down!
A shot of most any light lube would clear it up for a week or two.  There's 
a littel shorty sort of lever that doesn't seem to do anything.  Almost 
sheet metal as I recall.  I wired it to one direction or the other and 
it's never stuck since.  Strange as it just kind of floats in with the 
springs, 
but it worked.
