  Don't think so.  Conventional ones won't.  I've used the screw down 
one to do a V-8 before.  IF the jaws will fit in the hole without scoring 
the bores it might but I seriously doubt it'll fit either.  The lever one 
won't and neither will the "V" version of a conventional compressor. 
IF they now make a straight jaw for a conventional one, it'd work with 
the head off.
