[Vwdiesel] Vibration in 2001 Jetta Diesel

  I'm having a bit of a similar problem on the Jetta.  You can tell that it's 
a 
binding problem though and more of a low speed thing. Have to check if 
it's a wheel bearing or an outer CV joint. 
  How about axle vibration dampner?  Do they have those silly things on 
the 2001?  It sure caused problems like that on my 85 best I can remember. 
I took it off the first week I drove the car!
