Just for validation's sake, Mark, I get what yer sayin'.  I haven't gone out 
and looked at the part's pile (junk bin to the ignorant) at banjo's and bolts, 
but will tomorrow.  The smallest hole is the one that regulates pump 
pressure, and if that is in the bolt then one would need to maintain that size orifice 
to get meaningful readings from a gauge.
