[Vwdiesel] Diesel generator

Well, this idea just won't go away.  Today I went to see the friend of mine 
who said I could have the used engine block.  I plan to join the block to the 
head leftover from my diesel vanagon's ruined engine (tossed rod).  I told him 
my plan to use the completed motor as a powerplant run on WVO to generate 
electricity, heat the house and hot water, etc.
  He said, "Why don't you save yourself some trouble and take that complete 
motor over there.  It runs fine.  It has 225,000 miles on it, and a bit of 
blowby, but runs fine."
  I said, "Uh, okay."
  He even helped me load it into my van.  
  A FREE engine.  Complete with injection pump, injectors, etc.
  He said I could still have the other block if I wanted it.  Very cool.
