-Andrew : Do not swap ---fix.

She was planning on taking the van on a 100+ mile trip to Jerome, AZ. Down
from 7000' to 4000' to 6500' to 4000' to 7000'. The rebuild kit for the
diaphragm pump was not due in before she was leaving. I thought power asst. brakes
might be a good idea. If the pumps swap then I can't see any advantage to the
diaphragm pump. If there is any such advantage let me know. Sould they
swap, or is there an difference in the shaft that drives them?

The van has 93,000 miles on it and she is not sure if the timing belt has
ever been changed. I think I scared her into not taking the van until timing
belt has been changed. Anyone know for sure if the gas I4 are not an
interference design? Anyone know for sure if the ecodiesel has oil squirtin' piston
coolers and the other TD mods (special alloy heads, etc..)?
Andrew
