A starter made from powdered metal ?   how low can they stoop for a dollar ?

Couple of month ago a friend tried to free a starter with a hammer whack ---
end of starter.

PM motors are gaining in popularity and they make good little power generators.
110 volts 60 Hz.    I got a bunch from Princess Auto surplus  ---good price --brand new.

Using one for running the lathe right now  ---kind of hum's a bit..
