Initially, bottle brushes, and varsol (mineral spirits I think) parts
washer juice. The carb cleaner I used for finishing was the spray can type
at 5 bucks a can, used less than a can. Really, you can do well with just
some steel bristle bottle type brushes (used for cleaning crank oil gallery
holes) time, patience, and nitrile gloves.... YOu can bend the bottle
brushes to get around the corners, hold the end with a vice grip it's less
tiring on the hands.
How did the exhaust system turn out?

Well, I checked at NAPA, and a gallon of carb cleaner is $49.
So, can I just use mineral spirits or something else? What have
you guys used in past?
Mark
