     Well, the new head gasket is on.  The old girl runs out pretty nice.
  Hardly any smoke at all.  I've got just a few corners to tuck in yet
 (exhaust, fuel filler vent, backside full of lifevests)  and then I will get
 a baseline mileage reading.  We'll see what the scirocco body can do
 with the 1.6 NA running through  a .71 fifth and a 3.89 final drive.  (FN trans)
